President Buhari to visit Chad, Niger on Wednesday and Thursday On the Jihadist Extremist Boko Haram.


In the quest to find a resolved solution to the continued attacks by Boko Haram members, President Buhari will on Wednesday June 3rd 2015 visit Niger Republic and also on Thursday June 4th visit Chad where he would be expected to hold talks with the Presidents of both countries.

 Shehu Garba, the Spokesperson to the President, in a statement he released earlier today said; 


"Buhari will go to Niger Republic on Wednesday and will spend a night there before proceeding to Chad the next day (Thursday)." 
Also in a related development, President Buhari earlier today had a closed door meeting with the National Security Adviser, in the person of Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.). at the Defence House in Abuja. This meeting is believed to have bothered on the renewed attacks by the sect members in Maiduguri as well as discuss on the plans to relocate the military central command to Maiduguri, Borno State capital.
