President Barack Obama offered tips to Kanye West on running for president while speaking at a DNC fundraiser in San Francisco Over the weekend, where the rapper performed.
It all came in at the wake of Kanye’s announcement at the MTV Video Music awards that he might be running for president in 2020. Below are obama's response to kanye:

“You may have heard of this, Kanye is thinking about running for Speaker of the House. It couldn’t get any stranger…But in case Kanye is
serious about this whole POTUS thing — or as he calls it ‘peezy’.. I do have advice for him. Just some stuff that I’ve picked up on the way. ”

Obama’s first tip could have been aimed at Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian and the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” show.

“First of all, you’ve got to spend a lot of time dealing with some strange characters who behave like they’re on a reality TV show. So you’ve just to be cool with that,” Obama said.

“Saying that you have a ‘Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ — that’s what’s known as ‘off-message’ in politics,” Obama added, referencing West’s critically-acclaimed 2010 album. “You can’t say something like that. There are a lot of people who have lost their congressional seats saying things like that. You don’t do that.”

President Obama also let Kanye know that he had a slim chance of becoming President, having been brought up in the south side of Chicago, coupled with his funny name.

“Do you really think this country is going to elect a black guy form the south side of Chicago with a funny name to be president of the US? That is crazy. That’s cray! ” he concluded, leaving everyone in stitches.
