Officials of the red devil plans to expand the capacity of Old Trafford to 88,000. To achieve this, they would be adding extra tier to Sir Bobby Charlton Stand.
The officials are looking at ways to expand the capacity of Old Traffod from 75,643 seats to 88,000 seat capacity.
Their plan to achieve this, is by extending the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand which is formerly known as the South Stand.
Already the largest club stadium in Britain. When completed this move would make it the third largest football Stadium in Europe, placing it behind Wembley and Barcelona’s Nou Camp in Europe.
Being noted that this move which would require the demolition of a number of houses and a costly tunnel is expected to be completed by 2020. The essence is in order to create a safe-standing area and new section for disabled fans during football matches. What a great vision by the officials...
