Well, the man united summer signing has been never shy of seeking the limelight. Neither is his-so-self-effacing statements including the gems: 'Zlatan doesn't do auditions' and 'a World Cup without me is nothing to watch'.
Lol, The Swedish international now insists he is 'a normal person', summing himself up as a hard-working family man and saying that he is not the 'bad boy' everybody thinks he is.
For a man who has admitted to letting off fireworks in kebab stands and stealing a motorbike while dressed as Rambo, that is not an easy sell.
But, ahead of his Premier League debut against Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon, the 34-year-old claims his caricature is not the real Zlatan.
I'm a normal person,' Ibrahimovic said in an interview that will air on Sky Sports before United's clash at Dean Court.
'People have the image of me that I'm a bad boy; I'm this and I'm that. People are curious: "How is this Zlatan?"
'I'm a family guy. I'm taking care of my family, but when I come on the pitch I'm a lion. That's the big difference.
'I don't believe I'm arrogant in the way that people think. I'm confident. I believe in myself. That's not being arrogant. That's something I believe is an individual strength in the human being.
'I have confidence and I believe in myself. I have a vision and I do everything. I work hard for it.
'I don't believe that's arrogant.'
Ibrahimovic will lead the line for United in Jose Mourinho's new-look United side, following his match-winning bow at Wembley last Sunday. The former PSG, AC Milan, Barcelona, Inter, Juventus and Ajax striker scored with a a towering late header as United won the Community Shield against reigning Premier League champions Leicester.
