Women expose to pesticides had longer cycles and more missed periods. Pesticides block the hormones in your body, making it difficult for your endocrine system to function properly.

5. Rigorous exercise

Definitely its normal for marathon runners to miss their periods. The body stop the production of fertility hormones under stress. If you haven’t had your period for three months could be a condition called amenorrhea and it could compromise your bone-density long term. Regular rigorous exercise together with low body fats increase stress in the body and this stress informs the brain not to produce reproductive hormones. According to research, it shows that half of the women exercising do experience menstrual irregularity.
